Alpaca Experience  - Vouchers available for Presents!

Morning Feed Rounds 
​Ideal for all those who love alpacas and want to know more about them. A great idea for a Birthday or Christmas gift . Join Karen as she does her morning feed rounds with the alpacas and her extremely friendly and cuddly sheep...   You'll get to know lots about the alpacas, and help as much as you'd like, or just enjoy their company and take lots of photos.  You will need to wear appropriate clothes and boots that are waterproof and sturdy.  The visit will last approximately 1 hour and start at 9.00 am.  £25 for the first person and then £15 for every additional adult. Well behaved and supervised children 7-16yrs  £10 each. Not alpaca walking .. so much more!

How to look after alpacas throughout the year and routine husbandry required to keep them healthy.
Correct and stress-free handling, condition scoring, weighing, vaccinations, worming, toenail trimming, teeth care.nutrition and feeding.
Handling systems, fencing, catch areas, shelters, field maintenance, farm set-up and equipment etc
Shearing, biosecurity, and common ailments.
Fleece and conformation - what to look for when buying an alpaca.
Alpaca assessments with hands-on look and feel of the differences in conformation and fleece

Group Visits 

We welcome Group visits from schools, scouts & brownie groups and clubs such as U3A. These visits will last approx 1 hour and will include a farm walk. Please contact for more information. Fee £10 per visitor
