Being a first time alpaca owner I really appreciated the excellent help and advice I received from Karen on all aspects of alpaca ownership. No question was too small or silly and believe me I had lots of questions big and small! As I'm from N. Ireland Karen chose three girls for me based on my requirements and kept me informed on the progress of their matings, their health checks, etc. With Karen's descriptions and lots of photos throughout the waiting period I felt I was getting to know the girls a little before they arrived. Karen also helped me to organise transport to N. Ireland and advised on paperwork I had to get sorted on my side (something I wouldn't have known was necessary!). My three Meon Valley girls have been with me for a week now and I'm so happy to have them as part of our family. They are already eating from my children's hands, which they thoroughly enjoy, and I'm looking forward to getting a closer look at their luxurious fleeces as they become more settled.

We purchased our 4 beautiful male Alpacas from Meon Valley Alpacas earlier this year. We thought about getting Alpacas 14 years ago when we were very lucky to purchase land next to our property. Our children were young at the time and pony mad and a friend of ours gave us a pony, and the Alpacas idea went out the window. Ponies came and went over the years and we were down to 2 Shetlands and then decided to buy our Alpacas.
Karen of Meon Valley Alpacas, was extremely helpful when we first contacted her, and the whole process of choosing them to the delivery of them was first class, as are the Alpacas. Also Karen has been very helpful with any husbandry and diet queries following their arrival. Meon Valley Alpacas are first class and helpful Breeders, we can highly recommend them.
